Easter Forest Fun

The last Forest Fun session before the Easter holidays! The children had a rainbow feather hunt in the woods. There were 20 coloured feathers to find which had been hidden by Shannon. We liked talking about the different colours. The children managed to spot them all, even the ones hidden in holes in the trees! We did lots of counting to keep track of our progress.

After some free play involving chasing games along the paths and building a “fire” in the den, we had our usual picnic of fruit and sandwiches and a hot chocolate made using the kelly kettle. An additional treat of marshmallows was provided as it is nearly Easter.

Some of us got quite muddy, but that just shows that we had a lot of fun! Happy Easter everyone. See you after the holiday.
